Ebadat Advises on Sale Transaction Involving MFK Vyškov
HOUSTON, October 21, 2025 — Ebadat announced today that it advised the outgoing ownership group in the sale of rights associated with MFK Vyškov, a Czech professional football club, in a transaction that enabled the club’s professional competition rights to move to FK Příbram for the 2025–26 season. The transaction followed approvals by the Football Association of the Czech Republic and a publicly reported plan for Vyškov’s professional matches to be staged at Příbram’s Stadion Na Litavce.
Founded in 1921, MFK Vyškov competed in the Czech National Football League in recent seasons. Due to stadium and infrastructure constraints in Vyškov, the club pursued a restructuring that resulted in the transfer of its league place to FK Příbram, while football in Vyškov continues at lower amateur tiers.
The cross-border matter was led by Soheil Ebadat, with support from the firm’s sports transactions team, reflecting Ebadat’s continued focus on complex international football deals.
“Transactions involving competition rights, venue approvals, and federation oversight require precise execution,” said Soheil Ebadat, managing partner and founder of Ebadat. “We’re pleased to have guided our client through a fast regulatory process and an orderly transition that preserves continuity for one of the most promising crop of young talent in Europe.”
About MFK Vyškov
Founded in 1921 in the South Moravian town of Vyškov, the club has competed under several historic names, including SK Vyškov, Slavoj Vyškov, TJ Vyškov, and SK Rostex Vyškov before adopting MFK Vyškov in 2012. The team rose from the Moravian-Silesian Football League during the pandemic-disrupted 2020–21 season and competed in the Czech National Football League from 2021 to 2025. Home league fixtures in this period were staged at Drnovice’s historic Sportovní areál Drnovice, a former top-flight venue.
